International Ranking of Universities by Prof. Dr. Khalid Mehmood

On March 22, 2023, a session in Seminar Hall, Academic Block-1 of the University of Sahiwal was held to provide an orientation on "International Ranking of Universities". The worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Javaid Akhtar, acted as Chair and all faculty were present in attendance. The Guest Speaker, Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Dean Faculty of Information and Media Studies, University of the Punjab, explained the importance of acquiring an international ranking for universities and elaborated on the parameters behind this rating system. This event had been organized by the Office of QSWUR Collaboration, University of Sahiwal, in collaboration of the Directorate of ORIC, University of Sahiwal. The keynote speaker addressed the queries and questions of the attendees. At the end, the worthy Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to the esteemed speaker for such a successful session and applauded faculty members for their dynamic participation.
